I spent over 30 years in the print industry, most of that time running my own business. The part of the job I was best at, and honestly enjoyed most, was helping business owners and charitable organizations make sense of their finances. Eventually, it became clear that this was what I was supposed to do next.
When I started Alliant Financial Solutions in 2021, the goal was simple: create a place where someone could sit down, ask their questions, and leave with a clear plan. I bring the same approach I used in business management to personal finance. Look at the numbers honestly, figure out what they mean, and build a strategy that actually works for your life.
I hold my Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, life and health insurance licenses, and my Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation. I'm currently working toward my Retirement Income Certified Professional certification because most of my clients are at that stage where they need help turning savings into income.
My wife Brenda and I have been married for 38 years. We have two daughters and four granddaughters. We love a number of outdoor activities. When we are home in southwest Idaho, you will find us hiking, fishing, or exploring the backcountry with a camera. Our favorite travel activity is long-distance motorcycle trips.
Faith is central to how I live and work. I'm active in our church, lead small group Bible studies, and find that my church family provides the balance I need from the rush of daily life. I've also stayed involved with local chambers of commerce for most of the past 30 years, including recently graduating from Leadership Nampa. That involvement helps me stay connected to what's happening in our community and keeps me learning from other business owners and leaders.
